Sree Ayyappankavu Temple
ശ്രീ അയ്യപ്പന്കാവ് ക്ഷേത്രം
Inspired by the teachings and ideology of social equality and spiritual liberation of Sree Narayana Guru two organizations named Thiyya Samajam and Swadharma Pariposhna Sabha were established in the Ayyappankavu area in 1930 by the devotees with the aim to promote the socially backward classes in the region.
Sree Narayana Dharma Samajam was formed in 1972 by merging the above mentioned two organizations on November 12th 1972 and the SND Samajam has been registered as No ER 90 of 1972 under the Travancore Cochin Litracy, Scientific and Charitable Societes Registration Act 1955. Under the management of SND Samajam, a temple of Swami Ayyappa, Sree Narayana High School, Sree Narayana Higher Secondary School, Sree Narayana Auditorium, Sree Narayana Commercial building etc are functioning.
